Awards
Karten Awards - SWANS have nominated two Service Users, Margaret Wood and Paul Hardy for Karten Awards in the category of ‘The client with Outstanding Achievement’. This is a unique opportunity to recognise achievements and share success.

The Awards will be presented at the KARTEN CONFERENCE 2009 ‘Supporting organisations working with disabled people’ on Tuesday October 13th at Edgbaston Cricket Ground, Birmingham. Both have benefited from attending various courses at SWANS and now work as Volunteers at the Centre. Both are inspirational characters and demonstrate what can be achieved despite disability. Our fingers are crossed they both do well at the Awards!
